This weekend had to have been one of the most stressful weekends since I began college four years ago. Not only did I have the usual, huge load of homework to do, I also had to write a review for a bar, work extra hours and interview two people for a story.

I began my monstrous work-load on Thursday and by Saturday morning I was ready for a break down. After working eight hours, I called a timeout. What was I doing? I had been so obsessed with doing schoolwork and with my job that my weekend was almost over.

I don’t know how much everyone else enjoys their weekends, but let me put it to you this way: if it wasn’t for Saturday and Sunday, I would be in a mental institution.

After visiting a bar Saturday night to write a review, I decided that after my last interview on Sunday, I was going shopping. Now, I am not the type of person that shops at malls or outlet centers. I prefer a smaller, more personal type of atmosphere. I guess you can call me a boutique shopper. Because of my extravagant shopping habits, Sunday is really not the best day to go—most of the smaller places are closed—yet I managed to hit a few places.

If you are sick of crowded malls and tired or unattractive outlet styles, I strongly urge boutique shopping. I conclude this week’s issue with the Top 5 boutiques to make the best fashion statement.
