UPDATED: SPB Officially Announces Spring Concert

Quinnipiac University's Student Programming Board officially announced on Jan. 26 that O.A.R. will be the headlining performance at the annual spring Wake the Giant concert.

"O.A.R. has consistently done well on our survery every year," said SPB Mainstage Chair Jamie Kloss. "Last semester we did rap, last year we did a pop show. It was time for a rock concert and this was the best choice." 

 O.A.R., or Of A Revolution, is an alternative rock band that first formed in 1996 in Rockville, MD. The band fully formed in 1997 at Ohio State University and gained traction through word of mouth.  The band will be bringing their own opening act, though these performers have yet to be announced.

 

The concert will be taking place at the T.D. Bank Sports Center on April 22.  SPB is working with the Sports Center on ticket pricing and on choosing a date for ticket sales to begin.  More ticket information will be coming soon.
